Hayward Farm Event - Hauraki Plains College

Educational and promotional event for Hauraki Plains College students and their community. Including a range of activities - tree planting, orchard care, water quality monitoring, on-farm biodiversity, pest control.

Purpose of the event:

• Celebrate the learning, work, and efforts of the 300 students regularly taking classes on the school farm

• Celebrate the Primary Industries - past, present and future

• Expose all students and staff to the awesome mahi and variety of learning opportunities on the farm

• Engage with our wider community, and expose students to their mahi
